The rotating solar panel requires the charging of a 12V DC battery through the help of a solar panel mounted on a platform that can rotate through the motor. To control the motor, Atmega328 microcontroller is used that is fixed on PCB. The rotating solar panel system detects the accurate position of the sun from where the maximum amount of solar energy can be harnessed to keep the battery charged. This project holds the key to make solar energy efficient and smarter.
